INFRASTRUCTURE AND PIPELINES
INTRACS's highly trained and skilled workforce includes expertise in pipeline, water and sewer, rehabilitation, communication and horizontal direction drilling operations. The pipeline division installs, maintains and replaces pipelines and related facilities for the transportation of hydrocarbon based raw materials and products as well as other types of liquids and gaseous products.
INTRACS Fabricators is capable of accomplishing almost any metal fabrication from simple welding jobs to large complex jobs weighing in excess of 100,000 lbs, including fabrication, finish machining, and painting. We fabricate parts for many different industries utilizing a wide assortment of techniques and a wide variety of materials. We weld most materials including ferrous and non-ferrous alloys using a variety of processes including our computer controlled robot.
Machinists, tool & die, and moldmakers use machine tools using either power-driven or hand tools to remove metal and shape it to some specified form and size. Machining equipment is stationary or power-driven. There are many jobs in machine tool technology such as CAD/CAM programmers, moldmakers, diemakers, production machinists, maintenance machinists, and machinists. Related occupations are gunsmiths, model makers, patternmakers, fixture makers, and layout workers.
